Since winter is warm in Southern California, outdoor Laguna Beach was the perfect spot for Kelsie and Christopher’s engagement shoot. The shoot started down a back country trail, which was filled with bright green grass, boulders, and tons of golden brown leaves. As a way to add a little punch to the photos, this camera-friendly couple brought along a bundle of multi-colored balloons,which contrasted beautifully against the natural backdrop.
To show off this couple’s silly and intellectual side, we played around with black-rimmed glasses, and some favorite fantasy novels. The moment was spontaneous, fun, and full of personality. Then, as the sun set, we headed into downtown Laguna Beach for a date night out. The town was lit up with twinkle lights, which added a romantic flair to the nighttime shots. The scene looked as if it could have been right out of a Taylor Swift music video!
