Details Make the Difference | Carolynn and Jon

Today, it’s all about the details :) We were impressed by the sophisticated and meticulous details on Carolynn and Jon’s big day, and decided to highlight them here. This dreamy Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club wedding was put together by Monarch Weddings, who helped turn the initial vision into reality. You can definitely see the love and care that went into to every little aspect of this day.

Exquisite Blooms Florals at US Grant Hotel Wedding | Ryan and Eric

Here at Exquisite Blooms, we describe our style as exquisitely organic. Instead of specializing in perfectly round or precise arrangements, our arrangements are more loose and free while still maintaining a polished look and style. We like to have fun with the arrangements’ shapes and styles in a way that is stylish and modern.

For example, I was honored to be the florist for Ryan and Eric’s “Big Day.” I worked closely with Ryan, as well as her wonderful mom Liza, to create perfect pieces that fit their contemporary theme. Their florals were designed specifically to accent the jewel-toned ambiance of the Celestial Ballroom at the US Grant Hotel.

Ryan and her gorgeous bridesmaids posed for some FUN group shots with True Photography while holding their bouquets.

We also did simple and elegant white rose boutonnieres for Eric and his guys.

Ryan and Eric are looking picture perfect in this great couple shot outside the hotel.

Here is a shot of the Celestial Ballroom at the US Grant, all set up with over 100 vases and candles for the wedding ceremony. The floral centerpieces are positioned, the tables are finished, and the lighting is in place for a beautiful reception.

Here is a close-up shot of the table centerpieces, which were full arrangements of hydrangea, peonies, lisianthus, roses and stock atop a grand trumpet vase.

One of my favorite moments of the wedding was when the room was completely set up, and the lights were dimmed. You could see that the uplighting was in full effect – the entire space was breathtaking! Every last detail came together perfectly. Even though I do weddings for a living, I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever been a part of. It was absolutely perfect.

From the escort card display, to the top of the wedding cake, to the bouquet toss, the florals at this wedding worked beautifully together. Everything complemented the chic vibe we were going for. What a grand celebration!

Elegant Touch Floral Designs Adds “Something Blue” To A Downtown San Diego Wedding

For example, our clients, Kathleen and Rob, live in Washington DC and they decided to tie the knot on the gorgeous rooftop of the Manchester Grand Hyatt in downtown San Diego. Their wedding colors included shades of royal and navy blue, with grey accents to complement the beautiful view of endless sky.

Kathleen’s bouquet was made of orchids, white hydrangea, white roses, white calla lilies, and light blue delphinium with an ivory satin hand tied ribbon.

We lined the ceremony aisle with bundles of white roses, white freesias, hydrangea, light blue delphinium, snapdragons and larkspur with a flowing charcoal satin ribbon.

We created beautiful corsages with white orchids and satin charcoal ribbon to tie into the decor. This is a photo of the mother and brother of the bride just before the ceremony!

Rob’s boutonniere was made with a single white orchid with two blue delphiniums and a cream satin ribbon!

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were made of beautiful white roses, white freesias, white calla lilies, dark blue hydrangea, light blue delphinium, seeded eucalyptus leaves & lemon leaf in a charcoal satin ribbon.

We incorporated similar flowers into the simple centerpieces, which included white roses, white freesias, white calla lilies, white spider mums, dark blue hydrangea, light blue delphinium and greens in a clear square vase. We topped the beautiful sweet cream cake off similar flowers to add color and elegance!
